Levi's First Thanksgiving!


Levi took his very first plane ride - He didnt cry at all! - the lady in front of us even commented on what a good baby he was. He was fine on all four flights we took this trip - although on the last one he managed to poop and spit up all over his clothes.

Here is our little turkey testing out the pan - The Turkey was bigger than Levi weighing 16lbs - Levi is probably around 14lbs here.

Levi 'tasted' mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving day - he just spit them out and made a mess!

We took Levi to visit Shawn's school Stetson - She showed us her dorm room (which she doesnt have to share) She also showed us around the college town, and we had lunch at a little Cafe place - they had really good sandwitches.

Levi and Leigh-Ann's mommy, Bonnie - She still hasnt decided what she wants Levi to call her - Sorry mom, 'Grammy' is already taken! Oh and dont be mad for posting a pic of you in a bathrobe - maybe you should send me the pics you took over thanksgiving!

Levi was held by his grandma (or whatever she wants to be called) the entire time we were in Florida - She loves her first grandson! He was spoiled too - He had a bouncy seat, a play gym, some new clothes that say LEVI on them, a farm animal set and more stuff!

Levi and his Great Grandma Colvin - Levi's mommy's mommy. He is wearing his Turkey bib and is distracted by Berkshire who is not in the pic, but is standing near by panting with her stinky breath - Levi loves doggys!

Grandma Colvin got him a set of Eric Carle books, He will love to look at the colorful pictures - Levi already loves to be read to, even though he usually falls asleep before the book is finished. Levi enjoyed talking to her too.

This is why we call Levi 'Monkey Butt' - If you look close you can see how hairy it is!

We went to Grammy's house for dinner - and forgot the diaper bag - of course Levi has a poop blowout (all over everything) and ends up going home in his first cloth diaper - I'm suprised Grammy let us out of the house like this!

Whats for dinner? Levi stew? (no the stove is not on, yes we were RIGHT next to him, he was only in there long enough to take the picture) - We just thought it was cute how he fit into the pan - he didnt think so!

Levi is getting ready for his first Christmas! Leigh-Ann is hard at work making him some presents - and he has some big suprises ready for Christmas morning.

Levi is 5 months, 6 days old today

December 18, 2007 - Levi finds his feet! Starting to take his socks off already... uh oh.
December 17, 2007 - Levi's first two cloth diapers come in the mail - a cow print one, and one with Sushi on it! Levi wears the cow print to bed and no leaks! Now if only Kevin would learn to do the laundry...

Things Levi can do:

eating- Still EBF - Levi has 'tasted' a few things, but still has tounge reflex so we will wait!
sleeping- Takes 2 naps, an hour long each day and sleeps from 10pm-8am with 1-2 feeds
playing- Recently found feet! Thinks its fun to stand up, bounce and loves kisses. He has also decided that he actually likes the bath tub and will 'swim', likes to grab at his buddy Jake and they both like to look at each other
talking- 'taradaptyl' sounds, ahhhh, oohhhh, ah ah ah, ect.. sometimes it sounds like mamamama or dadadada! LOVES to talk
physical - sits for 5 seconds at a time, grabs everything using both hands, everything goes in the mouth, grabs feet, loves to stand up, has not rolled over much sence he first started doing it - I think he is just too lazy to be bothered, still not a fan of tummy time, Smiles A LOT!
crying - no longer cries in the car (goes to sleep instead), cries when he is hungry, or when no one pays attention to him for a while - but will stop when picked up!
